Fiber’s colors and textures fascinate me. Working with these elements in strong linens, rich silks, and metallics, I explore visual expressions of abstract thoughts and complex feelings and private responses to public stories. I love that many of the fibers have their own distant history, and that many hands have held them, worn them, changed them, before passing them to me for this reincarnation.
